Good Princess vs. Bad Princess!

Hey all you lovely glamouristas, Tesh here.

Let’s not deny it: sometimes we girls just need to feel like a princess ... you know, when we crave that extra li'l attention that we know we all (TOTALLY) deserve!! I was in prime Princess mode today but couldn't decide whether to be a good girl, traditional (fairytale) Good Princess, or a bad girl, modern (big city) Bad Princess. So I came up with 2 looks: one for each mood.

*NOTE: this "Bad Princess" outfit is not to be mistaken for "Naughty Princess." -- THAT will have to be another post, focused more on the straight-up smokin' SEXY, hee hee . . .

First up: Good Princess (she adores a good fairy tale). Ya know, it’s the usual -- so many toads, so few princes. Especially in SL! What’s a fashionista girl to do? Sigh. Oh and that's a toad btw that I'm kissing in the pic, lol. A real smelly one.

Next up: Bad Princess (this girl makes her own fairy tale). Hey, Bad Princess truly rules her own playground -- the big city. Just don't mess with her or she'll throw down some 'tude.

Yeah, kisses from cute guys are pretty much mandatory in Bad Princess' kingdom. Actually it’s like, the law.

Aaaah, sweet day. Nuthin’ like a little Prince action to wind it all down – preferably the tall, dark + handsome kind, with a few dancing skills. I highly recommend getting yourselves one of these as soon as possible. Kinda the ultimate accessory, hee hee.

From Day to Night!!!

One day I was out scouring the grid for some great goodies to report and I ran into Teshan2222 Wycliffe, group member and newest model. I was looking for some things for a post and when I ran into her she looked awesome and she had on some nice goodies that I recognized and some I didn't so I asked her to pose for me and she came with 2 looks. One for daytime work and one for evening time casual.

First the daytime work look. I recognized right off the gift from MEB 0 button down corporate shirt w/ black skirt + bangle ($1L or free from the MACOS/HipHop mall). Lots of great goodies at this mall be sure to have a look around. Maybe more to come from this mall . Not to be missed. Added to that she had on Ginza - mini birdcage gold jewelry - necklace + earrings (Slice of Summer hunt gift - free) by Ginza Jewelry. I loved this adorable little necklace with great details. The sweet little birdy has a flower on it, soooooooooo kyoot. Also Zenith Fashions ballerina platforms (Slice of Summer Hunt gift - free) by Zenith Clothing. The finishing touches to this outfit are Free Speerit Eyes-10 colors look again (wearing Sea) - $1L, Alady prim lashes (free from Alady Island), Glance Adriana skin (was free from the mirrors hunt), and Damselfly - Fallyn-Brown Caramel (not free).

Carrying over the accesories and finishing touches into the evening for a more casual look she changes gears with low-cut sweatpants, cutoff top + shirt: Twisted & Spoiled group gift (free when you join group). She also added Cynful gloves kiss - white (not free).

Summer Fashion show

Pleased to announce:

First "Freebie Fashionista" group fashion show at the Art Coup. 11th July 4 - 6pm slt.

Summer collections, showing the best most reasonable (and free) Womens and Mens clothes in Secondlife. We have a number of great designers contributing, each designer will show at least one free outfit.
Joaquin Gustav (who is a highly trained guitarist, born and received his music education in Buenos Aires, Argentina) will play during the show.
4pm for 4.30pm arrival, 4.30 we will be showing a 1920's Parisian fashion show movie accompained by Gustav live on the guitar. Fashion show starts at 5pm.

Summer Fun!!!

Summer is now in full force and not that anytime is not swim suit season in sl, now seems like a good time to let you know where to get some great swimwear at prices that will allow you to get some cool glasses or save up for that surf board you want. Anyway I enlisted the help of some member models to show off some of what is out there. As we all converged on the beautiful Mori Pwani - "Friends Beach" for the shoot we enjoyed the great scenery, awesome people and some of the best surfing that sl has to offer. You should definitely check this place out sometime. Lots of great stuff to do. I was on the neighboring sim Tuli Bahari the other day for a live show!! Take a little time to check out this cool place. That being said onto the awesome swim wear that we found.

first up Morgane Batista and Sophie Lavecchia. Morgane has on Thalia Bikini purple $1L from Thalia, and our sweet little Sophie is super yummy in RM embroidered bikini from Rosy Mood $30L. Super cute and reasonable Japanese shop, offer skins and lots of great stuff at even better prices.

Next Gem Henly and AlexandraM Guisse turn plenty of heads looking for a surfboard. Gem has on a Limited Edition little polka dot bikini courtesy of DCNY that is part of the SXY2ND Magazine Launch Gifts, to pick up this super cute suit just go to SXY2ND Magazine subscribo and select #3 from May 31st and it is yours. AlexandraM is wearing Hawaii Bikini Teal from Alexohol Fashions $100L, really cute new store with lots of great and resonably priced things, do check it out when you can.


The rest of us are looking for lifeguards!! Willa Shoreman, Elfe Jewell, Greg Mauer and I are happy to see that one is on they way for some hot Baywatch action... not!! Anyway Willa wears St. Tropez Swim Suit from !WigWamBam $125L, nice suit that looks great on and is a little more full coverage for those that don't want to be completely assed out. Cannot see the back but has low cut back with sweet strap. Elfe snagged this hot little Summer Heat Bikini- Green from First Look $1L, they have lots of suits and also some sarongs to go with them and some other cool stuff. Greg the only man smart enough to show up for photoshoot with all chicks is sporting red bandana short shorts from the Men's Red Bandana Bundle from SWIM, that includes tank top and long boardies all for $100L. This place has nice things for men and women and some cute couples sets. Last but not least... I have on the Nani Suit from Short & Sweet $100L my favorite suit and comes with sweet flower for your hair. They have great suits and a MM everyday, stop by and have a look. I think I have almost all the suits there. Also trans too so I can share with my friends. These are just a few things to help you out with preparing for all the pool parties and beach get togethers..Enjoy!!!!!!

OMG !! Cupcakey Madness

Well here is the long awaited post for the huge OMG!! it's another hunt, gride wide hunt. Again brought to you by the fine folks at the Katlene Niven Agency. Soooo many goodies abound that it took a little time to get my post ready but I am doing my very best to include as many generous merchants in the post as I can. Rene has a very colorful and fun find, she has on a delightful rainbow Mod 009 outfit from Freda's Fine Fashion (OMG #18) . She added to it bangles from Music outfit featured in previous post from Spork (OMG #96). Non hunt items that rounded out the look were alexa brown free gift hair from Adora Shapes and Skin , Awesome Alina Slingback Pumps - Gold 5$ special gift with hud to change heel shape, sole colour and add bow from SKGShoes , and skin she made herself.

Last but not least I am showcasing from the hunt the Return to Sender set complete with postage tats and shoes!!! by *~*HopScotch*~*(OMG # ) I love this dress. In my hair I have the lovely : BC : Rose Hair Accessory from Burning Chrome (OMG #103 ) who had a box of things in thier cupcake. It has many options to change colors of the flowers and also the little strings on it, makes me feel pretty. "Look What the Cat Brought" Hunt !

Well well! hmmm! can I handle another hunt?

Yes, I surely can, when I Limo'd ( please note my amazing rise up the pay grade, hehe, even get drinks cabinet in the back you know ) around to the first store Simply Fae mainstore (LWTCB #1, it's the 2nd gift at that location) and found the most delicately detailed ballgown with poof sleeves, diamond earrings and necklace created by the wonderful designer Boaz Sands.
Hairdo was by .:[ Tiny Bird ]:. Olivia - Pepper.

Off to hopefully find more quality delights.

OMG Hunt - Now on!

OMG!!!! IT'S ANOTHER HUNT - Sneak Preview.

[ Margaux is chained to the studio, snapping like crazy, with Photo Shoots, so I am going to whet your appetite with a sneak preview before she does her main hunt article. ]  

So busy hunting, I couldn't even get to the printer, so here's the film roll sneak preview of the delight I found inside one of those lovely yummy cupcakes.

Margaux tipped me off so I hailed a cab and told the driver "step on it fast" to #096-(Spork) , luckily the hunting was not too difficult, so I unpacked and then quickly changed into the Summer blue knit tank top with skirt and lovely jewelry including bangles, necklace and beaded chain in copper, silver or gold.

Slipped on my HOC Apparel - Stubbers Mules clogs, absolutely fabulous value at a mere $L10.

Then dashed around to Calico Ingmann Creations (- Hair, Calico Kitty (57, 59, 21) for a free hairdo {Alora - dark brown} (free group gift ).

OMG now back hunting for more cake hidden delights.

I love Zaara's attention to detail and oozing quality, so couldn't resist snagging all I could afford before the recent sale finished.
This outfit just naturally went together and is my favourite casual ethnic chic sl kick-about.

Miriel the end of an Era

When I first started sl and I started to take notice of things and wanted to have some nice jewelry as a finishing touch to all the nice things I had to wear one of the best and most generous gifts I received was from Miriel. See previous post where these gifts were previously blogged on here.
Besides her exquisite jewelry Miriel Enfield is also well known for her photo real eyes. When I was training to become a model the trainer gave me a set of her eyes and they became the focal point of many photos of me to come after that. Also she offers many options. Unfortunately due to rl circumstances Miriel must close and with it goes all of her wonderful creations. If you are interested in owning a part of sl history you don't have long to get what you want of this place. Also there is a mini hunt going on there. I have the slurls for it and it is still very challanging but some really nice things so worth the work.. Be sure too to get a last look at a really cool build. The hunt gives you a chance to explore that.
Also found a little place called Yess Designs ..with a little help from Mr G.. Very generous designer offering many great gifts including these silks complete with jewelry and shoes.. check out it. Enjoy

SL Discovery Hunt

The SL Discovery Hunt may well be the largest grid wide hunt in SL history. With 2 months to explore and discover SL and 500+ vendors... there is guaranteed that there will be something for everyone. This hunt started with a small idea, to showcase smaller stores that were sometimes over looked by other hunts in sl. Also to be kid friendly as to include some of the shops that cater to the kids at heart. With 11 "official" starting points to help spread out the participants of the hunt. The hunt is circular, so when you get to the end, the last notecard will direct you to the first location. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU START!! :) "Official" Starting Locations: There will be magnifying glasses that you will be looking for.

Quickie!!

Here is a super quick insomnia driven post, was playing around and happened to get this together and was too cute to keep to myself. Here is a really cute dress I found at a little place called Djunk! where just about all is free. I loved this sweet little Sharona babydoll dress. I like the colors and the textures on it but beware I realized when I was working on these pics that there is a 2nd skirt option and the top is a little sheer!! Still supa cute.. comes with sweet little hat and cool cane with animated textures on it. Here with it I have Indy & Co.: Black Pearl Necklace that I picked up at the new shop at Sxy2nd. Really nice mall and lots of really nice gifts. To finish this look up I have it with my own shape and :: Genesis :: Candace Apricot "Glitterati" skin (was set out as a one day deal), *Clover* Real Eyes #32 (I love these eyes) and = Hal*Hina = [almond] Hair -priscilla- (that was a special gift from the bunny hunt) Hope that you liked it.
