Summer Fun!!!

Summer is now in full force and not that anytime is not swim suit season in sl, now seems like a good time to let you know where to get some great swimwear at prices that will allow you to get some cool glasses or save up for that surf board you want. Anyway I enlisted the help of some member models to show off some of what is out there. As we all converged on the beautiful Mori Pwani - "Friends Beach" for the shoot we enjoyed the great scenery, awesome people and some of the best surfing that sl has to offer. You should definitely check this place out sometime. Lots of great stuff to do. I was on the neighboring sim Tuli Bahari the other day for a live show!! Take a little time to check out this cool place. That being said onto the awesome swim wear that we found.

first up Morgane Batista and Sophie Lavecchia. Morgane has on Thalia Bikini purple $1L from Thalia, and our sweet little Sophie is super yummy in RM embroidered bikini from Rosy Mood $30L. Super cute and reasonable Japanese shop, offer skins and lots of great stuff at even better prices.

Next Gem Henly and AlexandraM Guisse turn plenty of heads looking for a surfboard. Gem has on a Limited Edition little polka dot bikini courtesy of DCNY that is part of the SXY2ND Magazine Launch Gifts, to pick up this super cute suit just go to SXY2ND Magazine subscribo and select #3 from May 31st and it is yours. AlexandraM is wearing Hawaii Bikini Teal from Alexohol Fashions $100L, really cute new store with lots of great and resonably priced things, do check it out when you can.


The rest of us are looking for lifeguards!! Willa Shoreman, Elfe Jewell, Greg Mauer and I are happy to see that one is on they way for some hot Baywatch action... not!! Anyway Willa wears St. Tropez Swim Suit from !WigWamBam $125L, nice suit that looks great on and is a little more full coverage for those that don't want to be completely assed out. Cannot see the back but has low cut back with sweet strap. Elfe snagged this hot little Summer Heat Bikini- Green from First Look $1L, they have lots of suits and also some sarongs to go with them and some other cool stuff. Greg the only man smart enough to show up for photoshoot with all chicks is sporting red bandana short shorts from the Men's Red Bandana Bundle from SWIM, that includes tank top and long boardies all for $100L. This place has nice things for men and women and some cute couples sets. Last but not least... I have on the Nani Suit from Short & Sweet $100L my favorite suit and comes with sweet flower for your hair. They have great suits and a MM everyday, stop by and have a look. I think I have almost all the suits there. Also trans too so I can share with my friends. These are just a few things to help you out with preparing for all the pool parties and beach get togethers..Enjoy!!!!!!

OMG !! Cupcakey Madness

Well here is the long awaited post for the huge OMG!! it's another hunt, gride wide hunt. Again brought to you by the fine folks at the Katlene Niven Agency. Soooo many goodies abound that it took a little time to get my post ready but I am doing my very best to include as many generous merchants in the post as I can. Rene has a very colorful and fun find, she has on a delightful rainbow Mod 009 outfit from Freda's Fine Fashion (OMG #18) . She added to it bangles from Music outfit featured in previous post from Spork (OMG #96). Non hunt items that rounded out the look were alexa brown free gift hair from Adora Shapes and Skin , Awesome Alina Slingback Pumps - Gold 5$ special gift with hud to change heel shape, sole colour and add bow from SKGShoes , and skin she made herself.

Last but not least I am showcasing from the hunt the Return to Sender set complete with postage tats and shoes!!! by *~*HopScotch*~*(OMG # ) I love this dress. In my hair I have the lovely : BC : Rose Hair Accessory from Burning Chrome (OMG #103 ) who had a box of things in thier cupcake. It has many options to change colors of the flowers and also the little strings on it, makes me feel pretty. Yes, I surely can, when I Limo'd ( please note my amazing rise up the pay grade, hehe, even get drinks cabinet in the back you know ) around to the first store Simply Fae mainstore (LWTCB #1, it's the 2nd gift at that location) and found the most delicately detailed ballgown with poof sleeves, diamond earrings and necklace created by the wonderful designer Boaz Sands.
Hairdo was by .:[ Tiny Bird ]:. Olivia - Pepper.

Off to hopefully find more quality delights.

OMG!!!! IT'S ANOTHER HUNT - Sneak Preview.

[ Margaux is chained to the studio, snapping like crazy, with Photo Shoots, so I am going to whet your appetite with a sneak preview before she does her main hunt article. ]  

So busy hunting, I couldn't even get to the printer, so here's the film roll sneak preview of the delight I found inside one of those lovely yummy cupcakes.

Margaux tipped me off so I hailed a cab and told the driver "step on it fast" to #096-(Spork) , luckily the hunting was not too difficult, so I unpacked and then quickly changed into the Summer blue knit tank top with skirt and lovely jewelry including bangles, necklace and beaded chain in copper, silver or gold.

Slipped on my HOC Apparel - Stubbers Mules clogs, absolutely fabulous value at a mere $L10.

Then dashed around to Calico Ingmann Creations (- Hair, Calico Kitty (57, 59, 21) for a free hairdo {Alora - dark brown} (free group gift ).

OMG now back hunting for more cake hidden delights.

I love Zaara's attention to detail and oozing quality, so couldn't resist snagging all I could afford before the recent sale finished.

Miriel the end of an Era

When I first started sl and I started to take notice of things and wanted to have some nice jewelry as a finishing touch to all the nice things I had to wear one of the best and most generous gifts I received was from Miriel. See previous post where these gifts were previously blogged on here.
Besides her exquisite jewelry Miriel Enfield is also well known for her photo real eyes. When I was training to become a model the trainer gave me a set of her eyes and they became the focal point of many photos of me to come after that. Also she offers many options. Unfortunately due to rl circumstances Miriel must close and with it goes all of her wonderful creations. If you are interested in owning a part of sl history you don't have long to get what you want of this place. Also there is a mini hunt going on there. I have the slurls for it and it is still very challanging but some really nice things so worth the work.. Be sure too to get a last look at a really cool build. The hunt gives you a chance to explore that.
Also found a little place called Yess Designs ..with a little help from Mr G.. Very generous designer offering many great gifts including these silks complete with jewelry and shoes.. check out it. Enjoy

SL Discovery Hunt

The SL Discovery Hunt may well be the largest grid wide hunt in SL history. With 2 months to explore and discover SL and 500+ vendors... there is guaranteed that there will be something for everyone. This hunt started with a small idea, to showcase smaller stores that were sometimes over looked by other hunts in sl. Also to be kid friendly as to include some of the shops that cater to the kids at heart. With 11 "official" starting points to help spread out the participants of the hunt. The hunt is circular, so when you get to the end, the last notecard will direct you to the first location. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU START!! :) "Official" Starting Locations: There will be magnifying glasses that you will be looking for.

Quickie!!

Here is a super quick insomnia driven post, was playing around and happened to get this together and was too cute to keep to myself. Here is a really cute dress I found at a little place called Djunk! where just about all is free. I loved this sweet little Sharona babydoll dress. I like the colors and the textures on it but beware I realized when I was working on these pics that there is a 2nd skirt option and the top is a little sheer!! Still supa cute.. comes with sweet little hat and cool cane with animated textures on it. Here with it I have Indy & Co.: Black Pearl Necklace that I picked up at the new shop at Sxy2nd. Really nice mall and lots of really nice gifts. Designer Spotlight: Donna Flora

The work of Italian designer Squinternet Laria , Donna Flora is making it's presence felt on the sl fashion scene. With designs that range from cute and quirky to downright sexy and everything in between she is sure to have something to suit every taste. One thing that all the clothes have in common are the rich textures and incredible attention to details. When designer Squinternet Laria started sl in June 2008 she says she fell in love with it almost immediately. With years of rl graphic design experience as an architect and 3D designer, has dabbled with some rl jewelry design as a past time and has now turned her expertise to designing some of the nicest clothes you can get in sl. She would describe her style as retro vamp. Her philosophy on design is "I do only things I like...and I guess that if I like what I do, others will like it too". I know I do. Feast your eyes on the wonderful gifts she lavishes on her customers and also some of her offerings for sale...

A huntin' we will go!!

If you don't know it by now I am here to tell you that hunts have become big business here in sl and for those that love the thrill of the hunt there are countless chances to indulge on the daily basis. One of the Biggest hunts going on at this time is the Bunny Hop It started on March 27th and will end on April 19th. This hunt boast 100's of sl's best designers. I have not had a chance to get out to hunt as much as I like so I got the help of our fantastic group members, to show some of the fine booty available on this hunt. Tinka Bondar found some great things on the hunt and put together this charming look.. She looks like a little doll. First she made her own look out of 2 dresses.. she started with the top and undies from Twisted and Spoiled #104 to that she added the skirt and neck piece from the awesome gift at KyokoCouture #150. She completed this outfit with adorable shoes and black pearl bracelet from WhoNose #268. She completed this avatar with hair from W&Y #215 W&Y Bunny Hop GIFT , skin from Skin - Rockberry #155 [RockBerry] Megan Bunny Hop Hunt Natural , eyes from Sakurako #244 *sakurako* sky-Eyes (ocean), lashes from Deviant Kitties #50 [DK] Deviant Prim Lashes 01, and shape from PeppermintBlue #121 .::PeppermintBlue::.Pleiades Shape 190cm.

Also another fabulous group member on the hunt is maPia Dezno. She recently won Playmate's Playmate of the month, and to relax from all the hard work she did for the contest she hit the bunny trail. The clothing, ears, tail, legwarmers, belt, socks and bangles comes in the egg #29 found at *Dilly Dolls* store, from The Bunny Hop Hunt!. The cute easter basket can also be found as a part of this hunt, at -RC- Cluster, egg # 024, which also includes some other great thingies. These lovely pumps you can still pick up from Maitreya...just add yourself to the group (suscribe-o-matic) and you got 'em! totally worth it, they come in 15 shades! This skin was a gift from ! OCD Desings, they are currently having a huge sale until the store closes down for a period of time, so enjoy! The hair comes from [ :: HEARTCORE ! :: ], the style is called "Missy"

Don't get too close to my fantasy!!!!

Greetings and Salutations all you fashionistas and fashionistos. We all know that sl can be a chance for us to do things that are just not possible in rl. Most little girls and some little boys :P have fantasized sometime about being a mermaid or a fairy. Thanks to some generous folks even if you are not sure about it being a full time thing, you can still get a chance to try it on . First up Fish tails!! I have on the Dark Moon mertail starter kit from Tigey Tales Shop. Really supa great gift complete with mermaid ao and all. Free at the Armada location where these lovely mermaid pics were taken. The hair is [Aden] Tammy II (Platinum) , heard that store is closing in a little less than a week and all the hair styles are on sale for 50L each!!!! That is right!! What are you waiting for? The skin I have on here with it came from the Piece of Candy 3-15 group gift, and it is called Mandy 11. Please go by the shop and check it out Candy has some great things at even better prices, and she is soo good to her group.. be sure to check that out .

Next Stop Fariy-topia!! For those of you that would rather stay fairly dry and release the inner Tink there is * Deviance * - Aqua Fae Costume 1L, comes with the wings, dress, 2 different types of hair flowers and even shoes (not shown). In stead of shoes I opted to have it with the SLink Barefoot Bamboo Style (500L) , not free but really cute and I was able to make the polish match the dress. To finish up this look I have [Aden] Edie (Platinum) Hair , 50L on sale and Imagen (IS) Lia - Norte - Patricia skin that is a hunt gift from the hunt for shamrocks there, think each one is 1L each but have several skin tones in the hunt sure to find one that works for you. Long Time No See!!

Where to start it has been way too long since the last post. There has been one attempted post since the last but alas the blog monster gobbled it up never to be seen. Well I will try to correct all that. I would really like to see the group and blog grow this year, so if you are anyone you know is interested in doing notices for the group or doing blog entries, anything at all no matter how big or small just im me in world........ Spirit of the Season

Hello Pretties, Has been waaaay too long since the last post, but have been so busy with new studio. Be sure to come by M2C Photography and pick up Globe 212 in the POE hunt. The Peace on Earth grid-wide hunt is a fine example of how people from all over the world can come together in the spirit of unity and giving that seems to be almost universal during the holiday season. I for one am truly thankful to all the talented and generous vendors that are participating and also to the lovely ladies of Mode Rage for putting all this together, which was no small feat!! Thanks.

That being said.. on to the goodness..!!! First stop Insolence.. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, some of the most if not the most beautiful lingerie in all of sl !!! If you do not have at least one set of this stuff you are missing out. For anyone that doubts this they are currently offering a super gift of Jaime Christmas Outfit. Ohhh look!!! Such incrediably rich detail. The lingerie is a fine gift on its own but with the awesome shoes, hot dress and cute necklace it is truly not to be missed.

Fantasy China Dynasty Land

Hello my lovlies. I have had some rl issues, we all know how that is, that have kept me from being able to post for a while but I was on and found this place and could not miss the chance to post. It is a Chinese role play sim that offers lots to see and do. If you want to read more about that then feel free to check out my other blog Misadventures of Margaux Dufaux. This post is primarily about these yummy and incredibly detailed freebies that they are giving away. They have some beautiful ones for sale and as I could see most were about 1600L so that makes this gift even more special. They are only out for a week so hurry down and get them. They even have some nice things for the guys and we all know that they are often neglected. So that being the case I enlisted the help of my friend Mango Mubble, representing for the guys.

Also they just added a new outfit so if you went there during the initial rush now have a reason to visit this incredible place again. First off on me we have the generous and lovely princess out wear of tang dynasty and on Mango ancient chinese scholar, both very detailed and a true gift created by Stone Ryba. The sencond get up that we put on while we explored this beautiful sim, I have on princess yang of tang dynasty and on Mango another out fit for the guys Ancient Chinese scholars. As Mango enjoys a musical selection by moi. After a little more wandering around we found this nice quite spot and here I have on Feel China-Bena blue cheong and Mango has on Zen Robe.

Ahh what can be much better? How about a dress made from art and also getting the print that it was made from? That is right it is in the store now so pick it up. While you are there be sure to have a look around and the art museum is not to be missed.
