Having been so super lately I was looking forward to a peaceful Sunday morning. But oh no, that just can't happen can it? I'm nearly a quarter of the way through Silk Road Hunt 2 which, like other hunts from those organisers, is wonderfully well constructed. Admittedly a lot larger than I'd typically like, but the impressive organisational skills do make it feel far less daunting.
But anyway, right at the start you can get not one, but two gifts! The bonus gift being a Tea House from Johanna Joubert which was wonderfully comfortable. Thankfully I also picked up this rather stunning lounger robe from Luminous Designs (which came with the modesty saving and rather snugly pleasurable undies you see peeping through).
Unfortunately though, I fear my superhero secret identity may be rumbled, since I found out someone was tampering with my tea. As much as I wanted to relax, I knew this needed action. So I quickly bulked up with the 7' Stocky Shape from Sparklie Silks and called in some reinforcements.

The battle cry went out and they arrived! Crazy Cakes sent Ninja Bear, and The Mad Hattery sent the panda posse - you may struggle to spot them though since they came complete with my camoflague - the bamboo hat they're all lurking in, ready to pounce!
Now if anyone tries to mess with my Sunday... me and the gang are ready for you!
SuperFlash? Pfft, what a loser! Sure, he moved quickly but he's a wannabe I tell ya. You should meet a real superhero, the most awesome superhero you'll ever see in fact, SuperSuper!
Yeah baby! That is the fruits of a Super Hero Hunt Super Session! Is there a better super hero? I doubt it, and here's why:
That's a whole lotta super happening there! Could there be any more? Why yes, since you ask, there can be since I am getting all zen on my X-Men armchair from Xenian too.
Oh, I may also be kinda sitting on Lucy11 resident too. I picked her up in Club Epic which is right near the start of the hunt and she kinda latched onto me. Well, my leg as you can see. She's a nice girl, she saw how super I was and decided to become my sidekick (see, sidekick for extra SuperPoints) and put on some lycra of her own.
[09:47] Lucy11 Resident: Flash Unplugged I want to hug you and squeeze you and hug you and squeeze you, I never ever ever want to let you go!
[09:50] Lucy11 Resident: Flash Unplugged, EVERYONE HERE SHOULD BOW TO YOU! Do it Flash Unplugged, make them ALL BOW to you.
[09:53] Lucy11 Resident: I'M NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER NO NEVER NO NEVER EVER GONNA LET YOU GO, NEVER EVER. I have to pee.Okay, so she may be a bit chatty, but I like the way she talks.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go be SuperAwesome.
Not that I'm a geek or anything, but the past few weeks have been full of me bouncing excitedly about the Super Hero hunt. Because I'm not a geek, I'm a super geek!
Now it's here? Wow, this is a rough and tumble hunt. I gather it's the organiser's first effort so I think it's sane to focus on the positives. For folks like me this is a mega-collection of superhero and comicbook goodness! And some of the stores are producing some awesome items I have to say, I mean this is heaven for me. Obviously for my speedy blog post there was no better choice than the gift from Diavolicious
Flash is... the Flash!
Hey come on, I said I was a super geek up there, you can't grumble about that one.
Anyway, yes. A word of warning to anyone keen on this hunt, the hunttrail is insanely messed up. I've been landing in stores out of order, stores that got the application form but never made it in. Basically it's a bit of an effort. Hopefully it will be improved if they run another hunt, but for now I think it's still worth the effort. A lot of the stores are giving great gifts, and it's a nicely sane 63 stores long so you can actually do it fairly relaxed.
So if you love your heros, go see what you can find! I think you'll like the gifts, even if you'll want to slap me when you tp to a random empty parcel every so often.

One of my dirty little secrets is my love of [BAIT]. I say dirty because... well, have you seen that place? Even the doorman throws beer over you! But it really is a great store to visit with a lot of really fun and stylish offerings. Now being the cheapo that I am I love the assorted gifts and goodies, I picked up a rather stylish Bossman short and tie this morning for just 5L, and thanks to the lucky chair and prize boards I also won a "Got Pride" shirt and some SLexy hip piercings (no I'm not trying to sound like I was in a 60s jazz band, they really pierce your hip). Al wonderful items that were I a more organised and efficient person who wasn't sitting around going "It's Friday, do I have to be a grown up?" I'd joyously blog too. But I'm whiney and lazy, so you just get the May group gift, Buried.
Yep, I love [BAIT] jeans. Sure, some give me breezy buttocks but these ones cover from ankle to hip so you can even wear them around polite people. The shirts? Unfortunately it's all one layer but it's free so I can't grumble, and they go together well anyway; crazy black skull kinda covered by a nice polite white shirt.
This is pretty much formalwear at [BAIT] and it works well, I get to look socially acceptable without being overly fussy. This outfit could have uses...
